Read intensity at a glance.
A calibrated relative change drives the full-screen color field: lower change stays cool; stronger change moves toward warm red.
ON-DEVICE FIELD INSTRUMENT
Magnetic Vision turns the iPhone magnetometer into a responsive color field, anchors measured samples in AR, and records raw values for closer inspection.

THREE VIEWS · ONE SENSOR
Every view starts with the magnetic-field vector measured at the iPhone. The app changes how the reading is presented—not what the sensor can detect.
A calibrated relative change drives the full-screen color field: lower change stays cool; stronger change moves toward warm red.
AR world tracking anchors translucent samples where readings were taken. Unsampled space remains clear; no field geometry is invented.
Inspect X, Y, Z, total magnitude, noise, peak, and sampling behavior. Record timestamped sessions locally and export CSV when you choose.
MEASUREMENT METHOD
Reliable comparison comes from controlled geometry—not a single dramatic peak. Set a reference, move slowly, keep orientation consistent, and repeat the pass.
Hold the iPhone still, away from the object being compared.
Keep distance, angle, speed, and accessories as consistent as possible.
A repeatable spatial pattern is more informative than one isolated value.
SCIENTIFIC LIMITS
Nearby metals, magnets, electric currents, electronics, accessories, the iPhone itself, and environmental fields can all affect a reading. Magnetic Vision cannot identify a source or reliably distinguish electrical wiring from other materials.
It is not a calibrated surveying, electrical-safety, medical, or drilling-safety instrument. Do not rely on it to decide where drilling or electrical work is safe.
SUPPORT
Most unexpected readings come from permissions, accessories, movement, or an unstable AR session. These checks resolve the common cases.
mail@cishor.comOpen iOS Settings and grant Magnetic Vision access to Camera and Motion.
Start in a well-lit area and move the iPhone slowly while AR establishes the room.
Raise the minimum threshold so only stronger measured changes are anchored.
Remove magnetic cases and accessories, move away from electronics, then reset the reference.
